Project Introduction

The production line expansion project at Foxconn Dong Mai required an extremely fast deployment speed to meet the operational timeline for new machinery. Manh Cuong was entrusted with the design and construction of auxiliary M&E systems, focusing on power and compressed air supply for robots and automated machines on the line.

The system provides essential energy for production activities:

  • Providing stable power supply for automated machinery systems.
  • Supplying clean and dry compressed air for actuators and component grippers.
  • Ensuring fire safety and protecting equipment from electrical incidents.

Detailed Construction Items

  • Installation of cable tray systems and power cable pulling.
  • Supplying clean and dry compressed air for actuators and component grippers.
  • Construction of high-pressure compressed air piping and terminal connection points.
  • Installation of safety grounding systems for the workshop.

Advanced Technical Solutions

For the compressed air system, Manh Cuong utilized high-quality leak-proof piping, combined with industrial-grade water separators and dryers. Electrical cables were installed on mesh cable trays for better heat dissipation and ease of future maintenance or expansion.

Standardized Execution Process

5-step process applied at Foxconn:

  • Step 1: Site handover and review of machine layout drawings.
  • Step 2: Material mobilization and construction of support frames and cable trays.
  • Step 3: Installation of gas piping and power cable pulling.
  • Step 4: Connection to distribution panels and terminal equipment.
  • Step 5: Compressed air pressure testing, electrical continuity checks, and handover.
